About Our Leader
BD Brown Communications is led by William Brown (President). He has a unique blend of experience in three distinct vertical markets: corporations, educational institutions, and audio-visual for events.
During his tenure he played a key role in a variety of projects ranging from intimate board room presentations to large Fortune 500 corporate events. His skill set includes the technical side of audio-visual as well as the business perspective, having developed Request for Proposals (RFP’s), technical specifications, cost estimates, operating procedures and service after the sale. These attributes allow him to understand events from the meeting planner’s perspective. He has worked with high profile companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Elon University and Sara Lee Direct over the years.
Bill resides near Burlington, NC and is dedicated to his family. He’s an active member of Toastmaster’s International, serving as VP Education, and as President of the Greensboro Club prior to that. He’s a playwright and currently working on his first book.
